In a bid to prepare for ODI cricket, the Cricket Cranes are set to travel to Qatar for a four-match series against the hosts.
The team will play four One Day Internationals against Qatar in a bid to better prepare themselves for future international cricket competitions.
The 14-man squad has undergone a few changes from the team that toured Rwanda, with Joseph Baguma missing out due to school, Emmanuel Hasahya being unavailable, and Bila Hassun being away due to family commitments.
In their place, Riazat Ali Shah, who returns from injury, Ronak Patel, and Alpesh Ramjani, who all missed the Rwanda tour, have been included.
The team is scheduled to leave Uganda tomorrow morning and will play their first game on Thursday.
Brian Masaba will continue to lead the side, with Kenneth Waiswa, Pascal Murungi, Juma Miyagi, Frank Nsubuga, Henry Ssenyondo, Simon Ssesazi, Ronald Lutaaya, Cyrus Kakuru, Cosmas Kyewuta, and Roger Mukasa also in the squad.
The Cricket Cranes will be hoping to put up a good showing in Qatar as they aim to improve their ODI rankings and prepare for future international cricket competitions.
Cricket fans across Uganda will be eagerly anticipating the team’s performances, and we wish the Cricket Cranes all the best in their upcoming tour.
