Kampala, Uganda | Coach Saadat Waguma has named a provisional 17 girls’ squad for the U-20 Women’s African Nation Championship set for 20th July – 1st August in Yaoundé Cameroun.
The squad consists of mostly players from the Schools Volleyball program. Fast rising setter Katreena Odermatt, from KCB-Nkumba joins the pack alongside Lisa Nakitto from Ndejje University.

Uganda will make a return at the continental event, last attempt being in 2020 when Covid -19 got the better share of the competition.
The technical team is headed by experienced development Coach Sadaat Waguma (Kinawa High School) Apollo Namanya (Nemostars) and Mariam Nakamanya (Espoir VC)

The Championship will be used as the Continental Qualifiers to the FIVB 2026 U-21 Women’s Volleyball World Championship.
