In South Africa the contingent will be engaged in competitive matches with local sides

Uganda Rugby 7s squad in Stellenbosch Camp

Rugby Cranes Sevens (Uganda men’s 7s team) contingent are in South Africa for a second training camp ahead of the Rugby Africa 7s.

The Africa 7s set for 23rd & 24th April will be held in Kampala. It will double as qualifiers for the 7s World Cup & the Commonwealth Games.

The team held 4 weeks in their first camp in Kampala in January this year

Former South African 7s Captain Philippus Albertus Borman Snyman and Johan Van Wyk from Stellenbosch Academy of Sports (SAS), are with the team for the 2nd Camp

In South Africa the contingent will be engaged in competitive matches with local sides.

The camps will see other players called up/returned to the subsequent camps.

Expected to join the team in the third camp will be Captain Micheal Okorach, Philip Wokorach Joseph Aredo and Ivan Magomu among others.

Ian Munyani, Adrian Kasito, Timothy Mugisha, Nobert okeny, Ivan Otema, Patrick okello, Aaron ofoyrwoth, Alex Aturinda, Kelvin Balagadde, William Nkore and Karim Arinaitwe, Timothy Kisiga and Levis Ocen.
