Uganda’s FSL Select Team recovered from an early scare to win 4-3 against an entertaining Somalia’s FSL Select Team.
Andrew Kanyanga, Samuel Omara, and Kevin Ssekimbega scored Uganda’s goals as the home side took charge of the doubleheader at the O’Kla Futsal Arena in Kampala. Somalia’s goal pepper, Sabir Abdirizak scored an own goal to Uganda’s advantage
Hitman, AbdiKarim Omar scored all three goals for Somalia in front of a Somalia-dominated fan-filled stadium.
The FSL Select game are played by players from Uganda and Somalia who play in the FAU (Futsal Association of Uganda) Futsal Super League.
The second leg will happen next Saturday, 22 July at the same venue – O’Kla Futsal Arena.
