The African Volleyball Confederation has announced Tunis, Tunisia’s capital as hosts of the 2022 Men’s African Volleyball Club Championships.
The 14-day event is slated to run from 5th to the 18th of May 2022 with games being played from 7th to 17th.
Tunisia will host the tournament for the second time in a row having hosted in April 2021 in Sousse where Zamalek lost 3-0 to ES Tunis crowning the latter champions.
According to a letter addressed to National Federations, deadline for registration of clubs is 31st March and each federation will register upto three clubs with exception of title defenders who are allowed a maximum of four clubs.
CAVB has been organizing the competition since 1980s and it is by-far the most respected continental club competition in Africa.
Tunisia are currently the defending champions for the Africa Men’s Championship 2021 a title they won for the 11th time in Kigali Rwanda.
