Uganda Marty’s University Head Coach Eric Kisuze said St Lawrence University is not a threat to their title campaign as they have played against tougher opponents up their way to the 2022 Pepsi University football league final.
This was during a press conference on Wednesday afternoon at Kati Kati restaurant in Lugogo Kampala.

Uganda Marty’s University and St Lawrence University will face off on Saturday 12th November to see who will be crowned champions in the tournament’s final clash at the MTN Philip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo Kampala.
Uganda Marty’s University will be going all out having gained a lot of confidence after they eliminated defending champions Uganda Christian University (UCU) in a semi-final clash winning 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
They will be aiming to lift this year’s trophy since 2017 were they outsmarted Makerere University in a 2-0 win.
The Uganda Marty’s University gaffer Eric Kisuze is very confident in his side and he believes they have what it takes to emerge victorious.
St Lawrence, on the other hand, powered past Makerere University Business School (MUBS) in a 3-0 victory which was also their second consecutive final and they will be aiming to correct their mistakes of 2021 where they lost 2-1 to Uganda Christian University.
