Nairobi, Kenya | Coach Geoffrey Omondi, Thursday morning at Summerdale Inn Hotel, Nairobi named Malkia Strikers final squad of 14 players that will compete at the upcoming FIVB 2025 World Championship set for August 22 to September 7 in Thailand.

Seventeen players have been in residential training at the Nyayo National stadium gymnasium in Nairobi.
At the same time two players will accompany the team as training partners.
The two players are Directorate of Criminal Investigations outside hitter Sarah Namisi and Kenya Pipeline middle blocker Marriane Sokoiyo.
The team will fly out of the country to Vietnam for a couple of friendly matches against Vietnam and Spain before they depart for Thailand on August 20 in time for the World Championship.
The team was scheduled to jet out of the country in batches with the first batch flying out of the country to Vietnam on Thursday night while the second batch will leave on Friday.
Kenya Prisons setter Marcleen Akoko was dropped.
Kenya are in group “G” together with Poland, Germany and Vietnam.
