The champions of the Asian Championship will qualify for the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship.
The 2023 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship will be held in Manama, Bahrain, from 14 to 21 May 2023.

Okello, first Ugandan professional volleyball player in Europe and now Asia has been in top form for the last five seasons, in 2021, he led Uganda to a 4th place finish at the African Nations Championship in Kigali, at the same event he was top scorer.

“Its the first time for me and Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi at the Asian Club Championship, but we are looking at the top spot”. Said a buoyant Okello.
Okello has been at a continental championship before, but the African one with KAVC in 2015, a trip that changed tides to his professional career.

The 2023 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship will be the 23rd edition of the Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship, an annual international men’s volleyball club tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Bahrain Volleyball Association (BVA)
Okello’s JBP is in Pool A alongside Al-Ahli from Bahrain, Korean Air Jumbos and Canberra Heat from Australia.
