Pitso Mosimane is set to become one of the highest-paid South Africans right now. The Al Ahly manager is set to sign a new deal that is worth millions a month.

According to the club’s former player, who is now a leading TV pundit, Shobier, Mosimane has been offered $160,000 and $165,000 (R2.5 million) per month.

“Al Ahly made Mosimane a good deal, I believe that it’s now up to him. He previously said that he wants to keep the position,” Shobeir said on On-Time Sports as quoted by KingFut.

“I think it’s true that Mosimane wants to stay in Al Ahly, but the negotiations are still ongoing between the club and his agent. Al Ahly’s offer is between $160,000 and $165,000 (R2.5 million, with a three-month termination clause.”

In a related update, the former Mamelodi Sundowns coach has made a rather brave pledge to the fiercely demanding fanbase.

The man who is known as ‘Jingles’ has promised Al Ahly followers he will lead the club to another CAF Champions League title. What a massive promise when you consider the rivals in the competition.

Responding to a heart-warming and encouraging message of support from the club, Pitso Mosimane took the moment to make his big promise.

The club sent a post on social media with the South African coach’s image and a caption that said: “We trust you,” and “In Jingles we trust.” Read the full story here.
