Nairobi, Kenya | Kenya Prisons Men’s Volleyball Head Coach, Denis Mokua, has been promoted to Inspector of Prisons, a milestone that recognises his dedication both on and off the court. The promotion was officially confirmed at the Kenya Prisons Training College in Ruiru.
Mokua’s journey in the Kenya Prisons Service and volleyball has been marked by steady growth. He began as an assistant coach under the highly decorated ASP David Lung’aho, learning the ropes of leadership, strategy, and team management. His commitment and vision eventually earned him the position of Head Coach, where he has guided the men’s volleyball team with discipline and excellence.

Following the announcement, Mokua expressed his gratitude, saying, “I thank God, the Kenya Prisons Service, and my players. Through their efforts and the technical team, this achievement has been possible, and their support cannot go unnoticed.”
Kenya Prisons Men’s Volleyball Team is gearing up for the second edition of the Kipchumba Karori International Volleyball Tournament which is set to begin on 19th to 21st December at the Eldoret Polytechnic Grounds in Eldoret.
