Abuja Nigeria, April 8, 2025 – 6-time Champions Kenya Pipeline Company made their intentions clear with a 3-0 (25-15, 25-12, 25-6) whitewash of Spiking Stars from Botswana.
Pipeline took an early lead and dominated the first set with strong hitting for a 25-15 win.
Spiking Stars came back fighting in the second set but still fell 25-15 to Pipeline.
The Kenyans show their versatility and blocking strength to keep Spiking Stars from gaining any real traction in the match.
Three aces in the 3rd set gave Pipeline a 11-4 lead, Piking Stars crumbled to hand Pipeline a comfortable win in the third set 25-6.
Kenya Pipeline will now face APR (Rwanda) in the quarter-finals in a highly anticipated revenge clash following their 3-1 loss to APR in the CAVB Zone V Club Championship final held recently in Kampala. APR dethroned Pipeline to claim the regional crown, setting the stage for a fierce rematch as the Kenyans seek to reclaim their dominance on the continental stage.
