Nairobi, Kenya—29th March 2025 | The Kenya Volleyball Federation has announced experienced Coach Geoffrey Omondi as the Head Coach of their women’s Senior National Team, Malkia Strikers.
Omondi was announced this afternoon with immediate effect. He will take over from compatriot Japeth Munala, whom he beat off in a month-long recruitment exercise by the Kenya Volleyball Federation.
David Muthui and Esther Chepkosgei will deputize the Kenya Pipeline Company Tactician, while Mavisi Azenga will be a trainer.
Malkia Strikers have a very busy 2025 season to deal with, and Omondi should embark on this task immediately after the Women’s African Club Championship in Abuja Nigeria next month.
