Rabat, Morocco, July 31, 2025 – In pursuit of one of the CAVB’s strategic goals of ensuring to advance the technical capacity of our Beach Volleyball Referees to International Standards, and in our efforts to reduce the National Federations without Beach Volleyball International Referees CAVB is glad to announce that the CAVB shall organize a International Beach Volleyball Referee Candidate course (IRCC).

The course shall be organised in Banjul, Gambia in accordance with the following calendar :

Arrival 31st August 2025
Course Dates 1st to 7th September 2025
Departure 8th September 2025
All National Federations are invited to nominate candidates for final approval by the CAVB Refereeing Commission.
All nominated candidates shall meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a minimum of twenty-five (25) and a maximum of forty-five (45) years at any time during the year of the course, proven by an official passport.
  • Must have sufficient English language knowledge to undertake the IRCC.
  • Must have been registered on the FIVB VIS system as a national volleyball referee for three of the past five years. National Federations are responsible for checking their registration.
  • Upload their M-4 Medical certificate on the VIS system.

All National Federation may register their candidates by submitting to CAVB a recommendation letter on the National Federation’s Letterhead, detailing the name and particulars of the Referees with a clear scanned copy of each candidate’s passport.
Please note the recommendation letter and the candidate’s passports, personal photos, and M-4 forms should reach CAVB NOT later than 7th August 2025 . It is important for National Federations to send their nominations within the deadline.
