Banjul The Gambia | The Gambia Volleyball Federation is gearing up to host the CAVB U18 Youth Development Cup in Banjul.
This tournament is a joint initiative of CAVB, FIVB and the Olympic Solidarity whose aim is to prepare and empower the young athletes in Africa, as part of the lead-up to Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
Twelve countries across Africa will attend the tournament in Banjul that runs from September 2 through 7 2025.
Meanwhile FIVB has approved the Knowledge Transfer Programme – Referee Development, (IRCC) for beach volleyball inorder to enhance and increase the number of international beach volleyball referees across the continent.
The IRCC will be held on the sidelines of the development cup from September 1st to September 7th.
