Nairobi, Kenya | The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Volleyball Team is celebrating after several players and their head coach were promoted in recognition of their impressive performance during the 2024/25 Kenya Volleyball Federation National League and the inaugural Kenya Cup.
Head Coach Patrick Sang was promoted from Corporal to Sergeant, a reward for his leadership and commitment that helped guide the team through a challenging season.

Team captain Jane Mumbua, together with players Caroline Sirengo, Sarah Namisi, Mercy Iminza, and Peris Kanus, were each promoted from Police Constable to Corporal. The promotions highlight the discipline, teamwork, and determination the athletes have shown both in service and in sport.




Team Manager Madam Neddy Kilimo praised the team for their achievements and welcomed the recognition.
“These promotions will motivate the team to work even harder, both in sports and in service,” she said.
The team is now turning its focus to the upcoming 2025/26 KVF National League season, where they aim to build on their success and establish themselves among the top contenders. With renewed motivation and recognition from the Service, the DCI Volleyball Team is expected to continue inspiring both on the court and in their professional duties.
