Rugby teams from with in Uganda have been pooled in groups today for the Nile special National 7s, Mileke 7s circuit that will be hosted by Warriors on the 9th and 10th of July at Legends rugby grounds.
The contest will feature 16 top-ranked clubs from the different Rugby regions along with sides that got invitation into the tournament for their outstanding performance in the concluded central 7s championship.
Title defenders, the Kobs are in pool “A” with Impis, Walukuba Barbarians, and Jaguars.
Kobs triumphed over the Pirates 21-17 in Gulu to win last year’s final, in October.
To reach the final, Kobs beat Heathens 21-19 while Pirates thumped Buffaloes 17-0 in the semi final.

The Top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals as the rest play a challenge cup for placement in the next tournament. The clubs will scramble for a series of player Accolades, Medals, and a Cash Prize for the winners.
The pirates vowed to come back from last year’s defeat by the Kobs in the final. Will this be witnessed over the weekend?
