Abuja Nigeria, April 9, 2025 – Carthage are through to the Semi Finals after beating Litto Team 3-0 (25-12, 25-19, 25-22) to set a semifinal cracker with Al Ahly.
The Tunisian giants came into this match with renewed energy. CFC attacked with purpose and led 8-2 within a few minutes. CFC were too strong and ran clear to take the set 25-12.
CFC took the first point and a number of errors from LTV put them firmly Infront. LTV had little answer and lost the second set 25-19.
CFC were in trouble early on in the 3rd set as LTV pushed on confidently to lead 10-6. There were good pickups from both teams as they fought for the last few points.
LTV pilled pressure as they continue to lead 13-10, but lack of communication gave CFC a breathing space. With the set tie at 21-all, CFC used their experience to win the set and the game at 25-22.
Carthage will now play Al Ahly in the Semifinals.
