Uganda’s Heavyweight boxer Shaffik Kiwanuka aka Killing machine has set sight on a dream fight with British hitman Anthony Joshua.
For this dream to see day light, the 95kg 6ft Ugandan boxer must win every fight on card.
Kiwanuka is set to take on Argentine Fabian Nestor 105Kgs in a UBC intercontinental fight this Friday at the IUEA Auditorium in Kansanga- Kampala.
‘My dream is to fight Anthony Joshua, these other fights are a warm up to that big fight.’ Kiwanuka said during the weigh in this morning.
Kiwanuka has only had one registered professional fight against Thamsanqa Dube to his name, a fight he won 2-1 by unanimous decision.
He has had 3 non title fights, winning 2 and drawing 1 since turning professional in 2018.
Fabian who prides in his 32 fight (16W, 15L and 1 draw) pro fights to his name is not in Kampala for a Holiday.
Having last fought in 2018 in Kinshasa, the orthodox fighter is also looking at the fight to boost his world rankings.
