Abuja, Nigeria – 11 April 2025 | Kenya Prisons Women’s Volleyball Team delivered a stunning performance on Friday afternoon, overpowering Litto of Cameroon in straight sets during a classification match at the 2025 CAVB African Women’s Club Championship in Abuja.
The Kenyan side showcased their depth and experience with a commanding 3-0 victory (25-18, 25-14, 25-16), bouncing back strongly after their earlier quarter-final exit at the hands of Egypt’s Al Ahly.
The win places Kenya Prisons in contention for a top-five finish as they continue their campaign in the placement rounds of the continental competition.
Later in the day, KCB was set to face Rwanda’s APR at 4:00 PM, while Kenya Pipeline will feature in the highlight semi-final fixture against Zamalek of Egypt at 6:00 PM, aiming to reach the finals and potentially end their 20-year title drought.
