Abuja Nigeria, April 8, 2025 – Litto Team VC of Cameroun made it through to the last eight in the championship a 3-1 (25-22, 25-18, 18-25, 25-17) win over Chief Naval Staff of Nigeria on Tuesday.
The Cameroonians made their intentions known with better net defense and offense to take the set 25-22.
Again, after a close contest in the 2nd set, Litto were still a better side with quick attacks in the middle and well-crafted blocks to win the 2nd set 25-18.
Chiefs piled on the pressure and LTV seemed to run out of steam, good spiking and an ace helped CNS gain a 14-7 lead, Chiefs were on song to win their first set of the game 25-18.
It was all to play in the 4th set, Chiefs wanting to level, Litto fighting to secure quarterfinal berth. At the end it was Litto’s day as they cruised 25-18 set win and 3-1 match victory.
They now face two-time winners CF Carthage of Tunisia in the Quarter finals.
