A Confederation of African Football (CAF) delegation has on Wednesday July 26th 2023 began the inspection of Kenya’s preparedness to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nation (AFCON) jointly with Uganda and Tanzania under the East Africa Pamoja Bid.
The two day inspection kicked off with a meeting between the CAF delegation and Ministry of Sports officials today from 12.00 pm, followed by a tour of Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani from 12.30pm- 1.30 pm.

Thereafter, the team will visit Nyayo National Stadium 3.00pm-3.45pm, Ulinzi Sports Complex at 4.00PM-4.30pm, before ending day 1 with a tour.
The delegation will on Thursday July 27, 2023 inspect Kipchoge Keino Stadium, Eldoret from 8.45am-9.45am, Stadium 64 at 10.00 am-10.45am, University of Eldoret grounds from 11.00 am-11.45am and Eldoret Referral Hospital from 2.00 pm before concluding the mission with inspection of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) from 7.30 pm
