The championship is scheduled between 23rd and 24th April 2022.
14 Rugby playing countries will converge in Kampala between 23rd to 24th April 2022 to fight for a single slot at the 2022 Rugby Sevens World Cup set for September in Cape Town, South Africa.
The Africa championship will also double as 2022 Commonwealth games qualifier.
Among the countries to feel the cold, warm and hot weather of Kampala include defending champions Kenya, Namibia and Madagascar.
Four teams will represent Africa at the World Cup including South Africa that qualified automatically as hosts.
If Uganda qualify, the team will be making a second appearance at the tournament after featuring in San Francisco in 2018.
Uganda has started early preparations for this tournament by inviting conditioning and technique coaches from South Africa that have climaxed their job today at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.
